Position: Property Maintenance Technician

Aterra Real Estate is seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to ensure our properties are well-maintained and provide exceptional service to our residents. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our buildings and grounds while fostering a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and replacing ceiling tiles.
  • Conduct minor drywall repairs and painting as needed.
  • Ensure security of leased spaces, collaborating with locksmiths for re-keying when necessary.
  • Utilize carpentry skills and interpret construction plans effectively.
  • Execute minor plumbing and electrical repairs that do not require a licensed professional.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
  • Maintain concrete curbs and parking areas.
  • Handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing 75 lbs. or more.
  • Assist with yard work and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and snow removal.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in property maintenance or a similar field.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call and weekend duties.

Requirements:

Must pass a background check and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
