Overview:

The Vice President of Business Transformation and Clinical Innovation is responsible for spearheading strategies that enhance service delivery for Military clients, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of transformative initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and executive leadership to promote an integrated healthcare model.
  • Act as a change agent, fostering continuous improvement while cultivating robust relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of innovative programs and projects aimed at refining operational processes and enhancing performance metrics.
  • Develop strategies for the evolution of the 'Convener of Care' model, guiding teams focused on systemic transformation.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on clinical innovation initiatives.
  • Direct agile teams committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and advance the Convener of Care strategy.
  • Establish the organizational framework necessary to support the Convener of Care initiative.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, evaluate risks, and strengthen internal collaborations to foster innovation.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Demonstrated growth mindset with the ability to lead agile teams effectively.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology to drive organizational efficiencies.
  • Extensive experience in clinical and business innovation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams of Product Managers, Program Managers, and Business Analysts.
  • Proficient in data analysis and making informed decisions based on analytical insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in management consulting or transformation roles.
  • Knowledge of the medical health insurance sector.
  • Understanding of TRICARE industry standards.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time.
  • Full COVID vaccination is a requirement.
