Profile
The Vice President of Business Transformation and Clinical Innovation is responsible for spearheading the strategic initiatives and execution plans necessary to enhance the service offerings for our Military clientele, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers by evaluating potential internal and external collaborations.
In partnership with the Chief Medical Officer and other executive leaders, you will architect and oversee long-term transformations across various stakeholder systems to advance delivery and operational frameworks that support a cohesive approach to healthcare.
This role requires a proactive advocate for change and continuous enhancement while fostering robust relationships with aligned business partners and essential stakeholders.
You will be instrumental in making pivotal decisions regarding the rollout of new or revised programs and large-scale projects that align with operational procedures, strategic objectives, and performance enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Direct, organize, and manage program activities and outcomes of agile teams focused on innovative transformation initiatives that yield efficiencies and advantages for both internal and external clients.
Oversee the development and continuous refinement of the Convener of Care strategy for business transformation, with a particular emphasis on enhancing customer experience and provider relations.
Drive the creation of the implementation framework, playbook, and methodology for integrating customer experience and provider transformation across all partner organizations.
Identify and address cross-functional complexities, mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
Evaluate end-to-end process performance for customer and provider interactions by gathering data from diverse sources to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
Establish and nurture strong internal relationships at all organizational levels and across the enterprise.
Develop governance protocols to document and oversee business processes, rules, requirements, metrics, and standard operating procedures.
Facilitate and offer improvement recommendations to operational units through innovative experiments and targeted workshops.
Process and synthesize outputs from transformation programs into executive-level presentations, updates, risk assessments, mitigations, and business recommendations.
Mentor and develop talent within the segment; foster and maintain associate engagement and organizational culture.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of leadership experience.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and/or Senior Agile Leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with strengths in critical analysis and innovative problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of overall experience, including 3-4 years in management consulting or transformation roles.
- Knowledge of the medical health insurance sector.
- MBA or Master's degree.
Additional Information:
Travel requirements: 25-30%.
This position requires full COVID vaccination as we prioritize health and safety for our members, patients, associates, and the communities we serve.
