Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned and forward-thinking Vice President of Operations to manage and refine the operational aspects of our organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in propelling the company’s growth, operational efficiency, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Direct daily operations, ensuring effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with corporate objectives. Introduce best practices to enhance productivity and operational success.
  • Strategic Development: Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to formulate and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company’s growth and innovation goals.
  • Process Optimization: Recognize and execute enhancements across all operational sectors, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and regulatory adherence.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and nurture a high-achieving operations team. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Financial Management: Oversee operational budgets, financial forecasting, and resource distribution. Ensure financial targets are achieved and support long-term fiscal health.
  • Regulatory Assurance: Guarantee that all operations comply with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other pertinent global regulatory frameworks. Uphold exceptional quality and compliance standards.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and industry collaborators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in operational management within the medical device sector.
  • A proven history of effectively leading operational functions and fostering business growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and international regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strategic mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving.
