Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare sector, including historical and current issues affecting providers, payment systems, and policy frameworks.
  • Lead the formulation of Kaufman Hall projects, which involve market research, the development of comprehensive strategies for health systems, and the evaluation of growth opportunities in consolidating markets.
  • Design analytical models to address critical questions regarding our clients' organizational positioning across various dimensions, including quality, cost, access, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure exceptional project management to achieve successful outcomes from both Kaufman Hall's and our clients' perspectives.
  • Contribute to thought leadership within Kaufman Hall and the broader healthcare industry by generating intellectual capital.
  • Play a significant role in mentoring Kaufman Hall staff, particularly within the strategy practice, guiding their development and success on various engagements.
  • Support and lead additional internal initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in a consulting capacity focused on the healthcare provider landscape.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse projects, including organizational planning and strategic evaluations.
  • Strong understanding of the financial health and performance metrics of health systems.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills, both within and across organizations.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, with experience in developing and assessing business and financial forecasts.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise in dynamic environments.
  • Capacity to manage multiple concurrent engagements effectively.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, particularly at senior executive and board levels.
  • Proficient in technical and analytical software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Education

A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in Healthcare is preferred.

Work Environment

This role may involve a moderate amount of travel and is primarily based in a hybrid setting, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
