Job Overview

Are you an ambitious and detail-oriented marketing professional seeking a fresh opportunity? Informa Connect is on the lookout for a Marketing Manager to enhance our Life Sciences event sponsorship efforts. In this pivotal position, you will oversee extensive marketing strategies aimed at promoting and executing sponsorship opportunities at both in-person and virtual events within the biotech sector.

Your role will involve close collaboration with sales, product, and marketing teams to pinpoint opportunities, managing projects through cross-functional collaboration to yield qualified leads and impactful marketing materials. By assisting our clients in achieving their lead-generation, branding, and thought leadership goals, you will foster the connections and partnerships essential to the life sciences ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Marketing (95%)

  • Design and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and generate leads for sponsorship programs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales enablement initiatives, ensuring marketing strategies align with sales activities.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop and refresh landing pages, digital brochures, websites, and event signage.
  • Create compelling content for emails, social media, press releases, testimonials, landing pages, and other marketing collateral.
  • Oversee targeted outbound email marketing campaigns from inception to execution.
  • Contribute to inbound social media marketing efforts on platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and maintain the client database.
  • Provide timely reports and tailored campaigns to support the sales team's revenue generation activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns, assess revenue impact, and conduct A/B testing for ongoing enhancement.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)

  • Engage in Informa-led communities and team-building initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

BS/BA in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 1-3 years of experience in managing or supporting marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the B2B marketing landscape.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms and a basic understanding of HTML.
  • Interest in science, technology, and business.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and grow within Informa Connect.
