Job Overview

Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented marketing professional seeking a new opportunity? Informa Connect is on the lookout for a Marketing Manager to enhance our Life Sciences event sponsorship initiatives. In this pivotal position, you will oversee extensive marketing strategies aimed at promoting and executing sponsorship options at both in-person and virtual events within the biotech sector.

Your role will involve close collaboration with sales, product, and marketing teams to pinpoint opportunities, while managing projects through various cross-functional teams to deliver qualified leads and impactful marketing materials. By assisting our clients in achieving their lead-generation, thought leadership, and branding goals, you will foster the connections and partnerships that are essential to the life sciences ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Marketing (95%)

  • Design and implement digital marketing initiatives to drive leads and awareness for sponsorship programs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales enablement efforts, ensuring marketing strategies align with sales activities.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop and update landing pages, digital brochures, websites, and signage.
  • Create compelling content for emails, social media, press releases, testimonials, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
  • Oversee targeted outbound email marketing campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Contribute to inbound social media marketing efforts on various platforms.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and maintain the client database.
  • Provide timely reports and tailored campaigns to support the sales team's revenue generation efforts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns, assess revenue impact, and conduct A/B testing for ongoing improvement.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)

  • Engage in Informa-led communities and team-building initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

BS/BA in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 1-3 years of experience in managing or supporting marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the B2B marketing landscape.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms and a basic understanding of HTML.
  • Interest in science, technology, and business.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and grow within Informa Connect.
