Position Overview:


Lockheed Martin is on the lookout for a skilled Power Platform Developer to support our initiatives. This role is essential for developing, maintaining, and delivering innovative solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform suite, which includes MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI, alongside Azure, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, SQL Server, and various integrations.


Key Responsibilities:


The Power Platform Developer will:

  • Design, develop, and implement applications, reports, dashboards, and automated workflows using MS PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Provide daily support for production systems and assist users effectively.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on Power Platform development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish organizational themes for Power BI reports, ensuring consistency across applications.
  • Assist in the management of data resources, including SharePoint, databases, and cloud storage.
  • Facilitate training for staff on Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate, empowering them to create their own reports and applications.
  • Maintain documentation and cataloging of Data Dictionaries.
  • Manage Power BI licensing and access control.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to enhance application performance continuously.
  • Oversee project timelines to ensure timely delivery of tasks.

Qualifications:


To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in building data collection applications using MS PowerApps.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI languages (Power Query/M/DAX) for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with MS Power Automate for process automation.
  • Solid SQL query skills and familiarity with Azure SQL database support.
  • Ability to query data using REST APIs.
  • Experience in business data analysis.
  • Expertise in Office 365.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:


Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience with modern cloud data architecture in Azure, including Azure SQL DB, Blob Storage, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, and Data Bricks.
  • Background in ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and other BI tools.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, C#, .Net, R, Python, and Scala.
  • An interest in AI, Machine Learning, and data analytics within MS Azure.
  • MS Power Platform Developer certification.
  • A Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field.
