Position Overview:

Lockheed Martin is in search of a Microsoft Power Platform Specialist. This role involves the development, maintenance, and delivery of services utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI, integrated with Azure, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, SQL Server, and other systems.


Key Responsibilities:

The Power Platform Specialist will:

  • Design, develop, and implement applications, reports, dashboards, and automated workflows using MS PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Provide daily support for production systems and assist users as needed.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on Power Platform development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency in Power BI report themes across applications.
  • Manage the deployment, maintenance, and updates of PowerApps and Power BI visualizations.
  • Assist in maintaining data resources, including SharePoint and databases.
  • Facilitate the creation of documentation and maintain Data Dictionaries.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to enhance application performance continuously.

Basic Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in building data collection applications using MS PowerApps.
  • Strong skills in Power BI languages (Power Query/M/DAX) for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with MS Power Automate for process automation.
  • Solid SQL query skills and familiarity with Azure SQL database support.
  • Ability to query data using REST APIs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desired Skills:

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with modern cloud data architecture in Azure.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, C#, .Net, R, Python, and Scala.
  • Interest in AI, Machine Learning, and data analytics within MS Azure.
  • MS Power Platform Developer certification.
  • A Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.


Work Environment:

This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
