IT Services Business Development Lead

Talent Solution Partners, a leading talent acquisition and solutions firm, is seeking an experienced IT Services Business Development Leader to join our team. This role will focus on expanding our client's IT services offerings in the SLED (State, Local, Education) and FED markets.
About the RoleThis hybrid position will be based in New York, NY, with regular commuting required to the NYC area. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of relevant IT business development experience and 5+ years of IT leadership experience. Prior experience managing large-scale customers, projects, and teams is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and a strong understanding of government contracting practices. They will lead the evaluation of purchased IT resources, negotiate contracts for services, and facilitate the implementation of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities in the SLED/FED markets, primarily in the NYC metro area.
- Understand client needs and requirements to position services as a solution.
- Grow and expand the existing customer base.
- Prepare, review, and deliver proposals, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and other documentation to clients or prospects.
The IT Services Business Development Leader will also oversee technical IT resources to create solutions that best meet customer needs, manage and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with executive management and business leaders to implement technology-based solutions for strategic and operational objectives.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced certifications in IT.
- 10+ years of relevant IT business development experience focused on SLED/FED clients and 5+ years in an IT leadership role.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of latest technologies and protocols critical for hardware, software, network infrastructure, and network security.
- Understanding of government contracting practices, processes, and standards.
A competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and a results-based performance bonus are offered. Benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off, 401-K, FSA, company-paid training, and more.
