Position Overview:

As the Event Coordination Manager, you will oversee the seamless operation of our conference facilities. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and facilitating the setup and service of various events and meeting spaces. This position demands excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective time management.

Work Schedule: This role operates Monday through Friday, with flexible hours typically between 8 AM and 5 PM, occasionally extending beyond standard hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage meeting room reservations using our scheduling system, optimizing space utilization.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, ensuring efficient communication.
  • Maintain all materials related to the conference center, training, and meetings.
  • Supervise on-site conference activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for support services, including maintenance and IT.
  • Be prepared to implement emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Adhere to the professional dress code as required.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality to all guests.
  • Serve as a resource and guide for attendees.
  • Assist with catering services as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various scheduling software.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellence.
  • Proactive in anticipating and addressing business needs.
