Park Hyatt Aviara is a premier luxury hotel renowned for its exquisite accommodations and exceptional service. Our property features a variety of elegant spaces for events, including a grand ballroom and multiple meeting rooms designed to cater to diverse gatherings.

Role Responsibilities

The Event Services Supervisor will lead a team of skilled banquet servers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of service are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Overseeing the setup and presentation of event spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with guest expectations.
  • Managing food and beverage service during events, including table settings and buffet presentations.
  • Conducting general banquet preparations and maintaining cleanliness and organization in all service areas.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • The ability to lift and carry heavy items, with a capacity for up to 75lbs.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A strong understanding of banquet service and event management.
