Job Summary

The Medical Office Assistant will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of clinical, clerical, and administrative functions to ensure seamless patient care and office operations.
  • Triage patients, collect medical information, record vital signs, and assist providers during procedures.
  • Conduct routine point-of-care testing, obtain insurance authorizations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule patient appointments, manage documents, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical and clerical staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient office operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant program, military corpsman program, or Certified Nursing Assistant training preferred.
  • Two years of clerical/administrative medical office experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
