Senior Client Relationship Specialist Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Client Relationship Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. In this position, you will be tasked with assessing and understanding the banking requirements of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve guiding clients in choosing the most appropriate accounts and services tailored to their individual needs. Additionally, you will oversee the efficient establishment and promotion of new accounts and banking products while managing teller transactions as required. It is crucial to surpass the Bank's goals and fulfill the expectations of both internal and external clients. This role demands a high level of professionalism and courtesy while representing the Bank, along with providing mentorship to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a branch authority in initiating new accounts utilizing the Bank's account setup platform.
  • Timely and accurately prepare necessary documentation, including signature cards and disclosures.
  • Deliver exceptional service to Bank clients.
  • Assist clients in resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Exhibit proficiency in teller functions, safe deposit operations, ATM reconciliation, and related systems.
  • Process wire transfers as needed.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of legal documentation requirements for both consumer and business accounts.
  • Act as a dual custodian for vault contents, cash, keys, and related items.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning.
  • Manage general phone inquiries, addressing client questions, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills when engaging with bank personnel, clients, and external parties.
  • Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Complete any additional assigned tasks as necessary.

BSA/AML/Compliance Duties:

This position involves direct client interaction, necessitating adherence to BSA/AML responsibilities. It is essential to understand and comply with the Bank's BSA/AML policies, including reporting any suspicious activities to the BSA Officer. Furthermore, a thorough understanding and compliance with the Bank's regulatory policies are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Engage in regular conversations and active listening.
  • Frequently utilize hands and fingers for handling and reaching tasks.
  • Remain seated for extended periods.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Maintain close vision and focus.

Occasional travel between banking locations may be necessary.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in new account management.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience.
  • Familiarity with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in cash handling operations.
