Key Responsibilities- Relationship Development: Develop new depository and loan customer relationships with prospective clients through organized and consultative approaches, including telephonic, face-to-face visits, and written communication.
- Client Needs Assessment: Evaluate and analyze clients' financial and business needs, providing expert advice on the advantages and disadvantages of various financial products and services offered by Pacific Premier Bank.
- Collaboration and Communication: Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to help achieve client goals and address client needs.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Make independent threshold determinations regarding the creditworthiness of prospective clients, assessing risks and mitigating potential risks through financial statement analysis and collateral evaluation.
- Account Management: Actively manage and maintain existing client relationships, monitoring financial conditions and business aspects, and responding to clients' daily and long-term banking needs.
- Marketing and Business Development: Develop individual marketing strategies and approaches to promote the Bank's financial products, leveraging existing customer relationships to solicit and prospect for new banking relationships.
- Industry Specialization: Specialize in particular industries to gain a deeper knowledge of client needs and challenges, serving as a more effective consultant and advisor in areas such as unique financing needs and opportunities.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Scrutinize customer and potential customer information for evidence of irregularities, discrepancies, and fraud, and negotiate credit pricing, terms, and conditions to protect the Bank from excessive credit risk.
- Documentation and Execution: Facilitate the creation of necessary documentation to open, close, and renew all types of loans and accounts, ensuring quick and accurate execution of customer requests.
- 7+ years of financial commercial banking (C&I) middle market experience.
- Proven record of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships in the San Diego, CA market.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $110,483 to $165,725. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors, including location, experience, and performance.
