Position Summary:

The Client Relationship Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing clients' financial health by fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique needs. This position also supports the Retail Store team by delivering sales and service excellence. Our specialists offer tailored financial solutions while adhering to ethical business practices, always prioritizing the best interests of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and strengthen customer relationships through proactive market engagement and needs assessment to identify suitable deposit, credit, and investment options.
  2. Guide clients on alternative banking channels that add value and connect them with the appropriate business lines.
  3. Conduct comprehensive Financial Wellness Reviews, identifying client needs, making informed recommendations, and ensuring follow-up.
  4. Support clients in achieving financial growth through education and advice on various banking channels.
  5. Collaborate effectively with Operations Leaders, Financial Advisors, Mortgage Advisors, Small Business colleagues, and other business partners.
  6. Facilitate consumer lending processes within the Store, handling both simple and complex transactions.
  7. Assist with limited Small Business loans and provide cash management services.
  8. Promote additional banking services and refer clients to relevant departments as necessary.
  9. Ensure compliance with all banking regulations while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile:

A high school diploma or GED is required.

2-4 years of experience in banking or demonstrated sales proficiency.

Less than 2 years of experience in building customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and establishing referral networks in a banking or retail context.

Less than 2 years of experience in lending, including loan origination and processing, or equivalent training.

Basic understanding of sales and service techniques applicable to consumers and small businesses.

Reliable transportation is necessary for travel outside of branches.

This role requires compliance with the SAFE Act as a Bank MLO.

Work Environment: Fully onsite.

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base salary and comprehensive benefits. The compensation range for this position is $21.00 to $26.00, with the final pay rate determined by various factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
