Position Summary

As an Operations Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial activities within designated accounts and support the Regional Director of Finance in managing all financial operations within the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all cash handling protocols
  • Conduct reconciliations and analyses for various balance sheet accounts
  • Evaluate financial outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and maintain monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet activities
  • Develop forecasts and budgets while identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Review general ledger entries and balance sheets
  • Resolve various accounting and reconciliation challenges
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries, as well as internal and external audit documentation
  • Manage inventory and cost control processes
  • Oversee Payroll and Human Resources administration
  • Undertake related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in revenue management, financial reporting, and cash handling
  • Accounting experience in the foodservice or retail sector is essential; foodservice operations experience is a plus
  • Proficient in preparing monthly financial statements, key performance reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses
  • Skilled in planning, organizing, and managing complex processes, as well as analyzing moderately complex financial data
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems, cash, and credit card reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and relationships
  • Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
  • Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct
