We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring our company's financial security, and driving our financial planning.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
  • Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with President, COO and CFO.
  • Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
  • Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
  • Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
  • Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community.
  • Comply with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or relevant role for at least 5+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
