Position Summary: The Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in delivering precise and timely financial insights to the leadership team while overseeing all financial activities. This position involves establishing and enforcing financial controls, managing transactions, and preparing comprehensive financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising all financial transactions, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Establishing and enforcing financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintaining precise and current financial records, alongside the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Formulating and evaluating budgets and financial forecasts to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring prompt and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and tax professionals to guarantee compliance with financial reporting and tax obligations.
  • Identifying and executing process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of financial professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA designation or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience in team management and development.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
