This position will play a key role in the financial management of our organization, which includes the generation of regular financial reports, upkeep of a robust system of accounting records, and a thorough set of controls aimed at reducing risk and improving the precision of the company's financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, a strong affinity for numbers, and a dedication to financial forecasting and corporate strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the oversight of all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Facilitate the preparation of regulatory reports, including SEC submissions.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of financial policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
  • Engage in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
  • Prepare and disseminate timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Assist with tax planning and compliance, including corporate income, sales and use, property, and other local taxes.
  • Manage and adhere to local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and enhance internal controls.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a solid understanding of GAAP.
