Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a workplace culture where safety is the utmost priority.
  • Serve as the primary financial liaison with Corporate Controlling and Internal Audit to ensure that internal controls are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained at the site.
  • Regularly assess the execution of internal controls at the site on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Proactively identify potential risks within the internal control environment and address them with management.
  • Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and Site GM to guide the planning and budgeting processes for all site operations.
  • Establish and track site-specific financial and operational KPIs, providing insights to assist site leadership in enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support financial and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and sustain a site-specific Integrated Inventory Management model in conjunction with the Materials, Supply Chain, and Finance Operations teams.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through effective physical and transactional controls with the Warehouse team.
  • Understand key profit and loss drivers and proactively manage monthly and quarterly financial goals with site leadership.
  • Work alongside Site GM, Commercial team, and Corporate FP&A to optimize plant operations and supply chain efficiency.
  • Promote the OneUCT culture across various functions and teams.
  • Implement and manage cross-functional initiatives with Global Supply Chain, Account Operations, and Plant Operations.
  • Identify and adopt best practices across multiple global sites.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing finance, accounting, and financial reporting functions.
  • Strong knowledge of costing principles and the ability to drive financial efficiencies in operations and supply chain.
  • Experience in implementing operational and financial KPIs in a manufacturing and supply chain context.
  • Ability to lead and influence across various functional and leadership levels.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role at Vaco is determined by various factors including the individual's skills, experience, training, and other business needs. The estimated salary range for this position is between $170K and $180K annually.
