Role Overview
As a results-oriented Product Marketing Manager on our Product Marketing team, you will be tasked with crafting and implementing Product Marketing strategies and initiatives that boost customer engagement with our leading platform for generating, managing, and delivering content for shopping experiences. Your primary focus will be on enhancing credit consumption, increasing active usage, ensuring customer retention, and managing the lifecycle of customer advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Engagement: Design and execute impactful Product Marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction with our platform, including in-product messaging, digital content, customer newsletters, product webinars, and event demonstrations.
  • Customer Retention: Develop and implement retention strategies aimed at minimizing churn and boosting customer loyalty, utilizing data-driven insights and customer feedback.
  • Advocacy Programs: Establish and oversee customer advocacy initiatives, including the collection and creation of customer stories and testimonials, as well as managing a customer advisory board that informs product strategy.
  • Product Content: Collaborate with the Content Marketing team to generate high-quality, relevant product content that addresses customer needs and highlights customer success.
  • Customer Insights: Collect and analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in our platform and our go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with product, account management, support, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for customer-facing initiatives.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product marketing efforts, providing regular updates to senior management.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Customer Marketing within a fast-paced B2B enterprise software environment.
  • Familiarity with the digital commerce technology landscape.
  • Experience in marketing to or selling to the retail sector or related industries.
  • Proven track record of executing diverse go-to-market strategies for product launches in collaboration with product management, marketing, sales, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into persuasive product marketing content for varied audiences.
  • Capable of engaging with and earning the respect of both technical industry experts and business leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and product management teams.
  • Highly collaborative; actively seeks diverse opinions and perspectives from colleagues while also being able to work independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive business-relevant insights and develop strategies from data.
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and adapt to changing market dynamics and business requirements.
  • Demonstrates integrity, leadership, consistent execution, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Global perspective and willingness to work across different time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • A good sense of humor and a balanced work ethic.
