Position Overview:
This role involves working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients enrolled in specialized clinics. The Clinical Coordinator/RN serves as a vital clinical resource for clinic personnel and acts as a liaison for families and children participating in the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the nursing process to effectively manage complex patient care issues, ensuring thorough documentation and observation.
  • Takes full accountability for the care of assigned patients, considering their developmental stages and specific needs.
  • Administers medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Conducts evaluations to identify signs of illness or injury, intervening as necessary and documenting health trends.
  • Completes comprehensive nursing assessments and maintains accurate, confidential records.
  • Facilitates effective communication among healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Collaborates with various healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Encourages family involvement in the care process, promoting principles of Family Centered Care.
  • Participates in the training and education of nursing students and staff, addressing learning needs.
  • Engages in professional development to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to nursing practice.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of two years of RN experience.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
  • Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
