Job Summary:

A registered nurse at BHMC-Little Rock is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided by the organization to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking. The RN is responsible to know and understand the policies and processes of the department and the requirements of the organization and use them in a unified workflow with the rest of the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience with the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply basic knowledge and skills to meet standard of care.
  • Practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Meet the requirements of the organization and use them in a unified workflow.

Requirements:

  • New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or Registered Nurse in good standing, and licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Healthcare CPR required, some areas may require ACLS, PALS and/or NALS - training is provided.
  • Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education.

Additional Information:

This job will be authorized 0.01 hours bi-weekly.
