About Us:
The National Grocers Association (NGA) is dedicated to advocating for the independent grocery sector through collaboration, education, and essential services. Our members are integral to their communities, embodying the spirit of main street businesses.

Position Overview:
NGA is in search of a dedicated professional to fill the role of Executive Assistant to the President and CEO, as well as serve as a Liaison to the Board of Directors. This position is vital in supporting a dynamic President/CEO with various executive administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling and calendar for the President/CEO.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports.
- Draft correspondence and maintain organized records.
- Oversee project management for special assignments and basic office administration.
- Act as a liaison to NGA's Board of Directors, fostering positive relationships and coordinating meeting materials.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Discretion and the capability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience managing complex travel itineraries and senior executive schedules.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word.
  • Experience working with non-profit or trade association boards is advantageous.
