Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents, including repairs and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, and other systems.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments, including management and administration, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one to two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Valid state driver's license required for vehicle travel, as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary range of $21.29 per hour.
