Market Development Representative

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with On-Premise customers, including bars, restaurants, and hotels, to drive revenue and profit growth for our Sazerac portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with On-Premise customers to drive sales and revenue growth
- Create and manage solutions to grow assigned accounts business while driving results that deliver market share growth for Sazerac brands
- Collaborate with wholesaler partners to support in-outlet selling and execution
- Plan and implement programs to deliver volume, distribution, and execution KPIs
- Develop mutually valuable relationships with assigned customers by understanding their key needs and requirements
- Serve as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams
- Monitor agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with key customers
- Review account partners' business regularly and deliver solutions to improve profitability and growth
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, or for new college graduates, a sales internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods)
- A valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Willingness to travel
- Must be able to obtain a relevant solicitor's permit in any state
- Candidate must reside in or near the territory
- Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed
- Minimum 2 years sales experience
- Market development and sales analysis experience
- Strong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results
- Experience building customer relationships
- Standing for an extended period of time
- Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 pounds without assistance
- Ascend or descend stairs
- Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day
- Strong communication skills
