Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with On-Premise customers, including bars, restaurants, and hotels, to drive revenue and profit growth for our Sazerac portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with On-Premise customers to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Create and manage solutions to grow assigned accounts business while driving results that deliver market share growth for Sazerac brands
  • Collaborate with wholesaler partners to support in-outlet selling and execution
  • Plan and implement programs to deliver volume, distribution, and execution KPIs
  • Develop mutually valuable relationships with assigned customers by understanding their key needs and requirements
  • Serve as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams
  • Monitor agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with key customers
  • Review account partners' business regularly and deliver solutions to improve profitability and growth
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, or for new college graduates, a sales internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must be able to obtain a relevant solicitor's permit in any state
  • Candidate must reside in or near the territory
  • Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Market development and sales analysis experience
  • Strong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results
  • Experience building customer relationships
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing for an extended period of time
  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 pounds without assistance
  • Ascend or descend stairs
  • Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day
  • Strong communication skills
