Japanese Business Development Representative

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in Japan, as well as developing and maintaining existing relationships with key clients.
About the Role
This is a full-time exempt position that requires a strong understanding of sales principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Japan
- Develop and maintain existing relationships with key clients
- Conduct sales activities with customers focusing on future/potential business
- Negotiate and coordinate contracts and their content with customers
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company's relationship with them
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of sales-related work experience
- Fluent Japanese and English language skills
