Senior Business Development Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the APQP process during pre-selection, obtaining business awards, and supplying kick-off packages to customers. The successful candidate will work closely with global teams to ensure post-selection activities are completed on time.
- Develop strong relationships with engineering and purchasing personnel at automotive companies to understand their needs for interior fabrics and plastic materials.
- Prepare documents for internal meetings, support schedule updates, and report any issues or concerns to management.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of global coordination and technical knowledge to support special projects. This includes pre-selection sales support, responsibility for materials engineering, costing, sales promotion, schedule management, preliminary product specifications, and coordinating physical testing.
Additionally, the successful candidate will:
- Support account development plans, receive orders, and complete Seijun checklists.
- Work closely with designated Japanese advisors and dispatched personnel from the parent company to understand company culture and management expectations.
- Communicate effectively with the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, General Manager, global design and development teams, and customers.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Travel may be required within the US or overseas for presentations, meetings, and training.
