Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to expand philanthropic support and strategic partnerships in the Permian Basin region.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, ensuring a strong pipeline of funding opportunities.
  • Lead stewardship and reporting efforts with key philanthropic partners, ensuring a positive and lasting impact on IDEA's work in the region.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director of Regional Individual Giving and the Executive Director of IDEA Permian Basin to drive strategic partnerships and community engagement.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the visibility of IDEA's work and student achievement in the Permian Basin region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 6 years of experience in development, advocacy, fundraising, grant writing, or a similar role.
  • CRM database experience; Salesforce preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results with a proven track record of personal achievement.
  • Belief in IDEA's mission and an understanding of what it takes to achieve the goal of college for all children.
