This role is a full-time, permanent position, offering the flexibility of remote work.
Compensation:
$90,000 base salary plus commission.
Position Overview:
The Business Development (BD) Manager will oversee gene-targeting, mouse model licensing/sales, and preclinical research within the designated region. This role focuses on achieving business objectives, meeting territory quotas, and identifying new business ventures and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in both scientific and commercial aspects of the relevant fields.
- Proactively engage with potential clients, identify business prospects, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.
- Participate in industry trade shows and relevant conferences.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- PhD with relevant industry experience.
- Experience in business development is a plus.
- Strong enthusiasm for advancements in biopharmaceutical science and business.
- Enjoy networking with leading scientists in biotech and biopharma sectors.
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation is advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
- Language proficiency: English is required; Chinese is a plus.
