Job Title: Director of Business Development

At Ohalo, we're revolutionizing the way we grow food. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. This role will play a critical part in driving our commercial strategy and growth through the development and execution of commercial partnerships.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies and go-to-market models for our crops and geographies.
  • Identify new crops and markets with high value creation potential for our technologies.
  • Source and pitch potential partners on innovative deal structures tailored to our diverse partners and crops.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional support for negotiating and closing commercial transactions.
  • Work with our General Managers to support active partnerships and ensure execution of objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in the ag industry preferred with relevant functional experience in sales, business development, technology licensing, investment, acquisition, or corporate development.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong track record sourcing and closing business development transactions.
  • Experience delivering on revenue objectives after partnerships are active.
  • Ability to develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • Skilled at building presentations and financial models.
