Business Development Director

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is a leading commercial construction company with a strong commitment to innovation and employee ownership. As a Business Development Director, you will play a key role in driving business growth and sales success in our target market sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development plans to meet or exceed sales targets in assigned market sectors.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Manage and forecast sales pipeline to ensure timely pursuit of opportunities.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience in commercial construction or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial and operational knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
