About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Patients: Welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling and efficient use of resources.
  • Patient Registration: Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
  • Answer Inquiries: Address patient queries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Liaise with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to facilitate patient care.
  • Maintain Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming.
  • Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Follow established protocols to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
  • Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to assist patients and provide exceptional service.
  • Proficiency with Computers: Comfortable using electronic health record systems and office software.
