Job Summary

Waikiki Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient workflow and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service to patients and associates in person and on the telephone.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Regularly use our Electronic Medical Records system (ATHENA) to verify patient information and assist with productivity.
  • Productivity and Workflow: Assist with maintaining efficient workflow and working with the clinical staff and medical providers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Some post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification upon hire.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year working in a medical office with knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of common medications and billing procedures, familiarity with common software programs, and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, community members, and staff members.
