We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lead Patient Service Representative at Hawaii Pacific Health. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating work activities and staffing at our Gastroenterology department, including:

- Processing professional and technical fees generated by department providers
- Interviewing, registering, admitting, updating, and creating patients' medical records

ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating work activities and staffing at the Gastroenterology department
- Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of clerical support experience in a healthcare setting, including medical insurance and collection experience
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
We are looking for candidates with:
- An associate's degree in business administration or a related field
- Experience with International Classification of Diseases 9th edition (ICD-9) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)
- Medical terminology experience
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) experience
