Role Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist, specializing in Employee Relations, plays a crucial role in promoting a positive workplace environment. This position is responsible for monitoring employee satisfaction, conducting thorough investigations, and reporting findings to the HR leadership team. The ideal candidate will work closely with both employees and management to enhance the overall work experience and cultivate a constructive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with team leaders and employees to identify opportunities for improving workplace satisfaction and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with employees at all levels to gather insights and provide feedback to management on communication and change initiatives.
  • Analyze employee data to inform strategies aimed at fostering a committed and engaged workforce.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop initiatives that promote positive employee relations.
  • Monitor emerging issues that may impact employee relations and provide timely updates to HR leadership.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with employees to support their needs and address concerns related to workplace policies.
  • Identify and implement programs that enhance employee relations and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to propose improvements across various departments.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a welcoming experience for new hires.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal investigations related to workplace concerns and prepare necessary documentation for HR review.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience; or
  • High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and HR-specific applications.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of trust and excellence.

Physical Requirements:
The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to operate standard office equipment.
