Position Summary

The Restoration Supervisor will oversee and collaborate with general labor staff to ensure high-quality output while adhering to deadlines set by the Assistant Project Manager (APM) and Project Manager (PM). Candidates should possess a background in demolition, restoration, or construction, with prior experience in disaster relief considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform essential cleaning tasks for fire, water, and mold remediation, including but not limited to: wiping down surfaces, managing inventory, wrapping items, and loading/unloading vehicles.
  • Achieve productivity targets by meeting or exceeding established deadlines.
  • Assist the PM or APM in training agency general labor during project execution.
  • Lead a team by clearly communicating job tasks.
  • Foster effective communication among all team members to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Report to work punctually as scheduled.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience in manual labor.
  • Capability to lead and work alongside a crew of up to 10 individuals.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Experience in construction and/or restoration is advantageous.
  • A current passport is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods (4+ hours).
  • Ability to bend, squat, and reach overhead consistently.
  • Proficiency in repetitive motions, such as cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work in high-temperature environments.
  • Capability to work in areas with smoke odors.
  • Willingness to wear necessary personal protective equipment specific to the job site, including full-face respirators.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
