Role Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist, focusing on Employee Relations, plays a crucial role in promoting a positive workplace environment. This position involves monitoring employee satisfaction, conducting thorough investigations, and collaborating closely with management to address workplace concerns. As a vital member of the HR team, the Senior HR Generalist will serve as a key resource throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and a strong company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with employees and leadership to enhance workplace experiences and boost engagement levels.
  • Build strong relationships with staff at all levels, gathering insights to advise management on effective communication and change management strategies.
  • Analyze workforce data to recommend strategies for fostering an engaged and motivated workforce.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to devise initiatives that promote positive employee relations.
  • Monitor emerging issues that may impact employee relations and provide timely feedback to HR leadership.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide actionable recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with employees to support their needs regarding workplace policies and practices.
  • Identify and implement programs that promote constructive employee relations and a positive work environment.
  • Develop strategies aimed at improving employee retention and satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to inform recommendations for enhancing company culture.
  • Assist in the development and management of Performance Improvement Plans and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Support new employees during their onboarding process to ensure a positive initial experience.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into sensitive employee relations matters and report findings to HR leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience; or
  • High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated industries is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and HR-specific applications.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a creative approach to employee engagement.
