Job Summary:

Comtec Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Specialist to join our team. As a Project Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to project managers and teams, ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and teams, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including creating project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met, including communicating with stakeholders, vendors, and team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and clients.
  • Provide technical support to project teams, including troubleshooting issues, providing training, and ensuring the effective use of project management tools and software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, such as business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in project support or a related field, including experience with project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and OneNote.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the commercial nuclear power plant industry.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Team and customer service orientated.
  • Strong work and personal ethics, planning and organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
