We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Culinary Support Specialist. This position is essential in ensuring the kitchen and dining spaces are kept tidy and organized, while also assisting in food preparation and service. This role is classified as a non-exempt hourly position aimed at equipping young individuals with the skills necessary for workforce success through guidance and mentorship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold the core values and operational principles of Odle Management.
  • Assist with food preparation and monitor inventory supplies.
  • Participate in food service activities, including dishwashing and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to cleanliness and sanitation protocols within the kitchen.
  • Aid in the transfer and storage of food ingredients.
  • Follow safety regulations and participate in training sessions.
  • Promote a respectful and secure environment for both staff and students.
  • Demonstrate and instill employability skills and personal accountability.
  • Maintain safety and accountability in all assigned tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with some training in food preparation. Preference will be given to candidates with ServSafe food safety certification and a valid driver's license. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and be available to work flexible hours.

Additional Qualifications: Applicants must adhere to cleanliness standards and comply with state food handling regulations. CPR/First Aid certification and proficiency in operating office equipment are required. Strong interpersonal skills and effective teamwork are critical for success in this position.
