Job Overview

K-Taco Asian Inspired Mexican is seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Staff Member to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of food products and services to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that all food products are handled and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Environmental Cleaning: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing regular cleaning tasks.
  • Preparation: Pre-process ingredients and cook food as required to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Valid Social Security Number: Must have a valid Social Security number.
  • Experience: Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification: Holding a valid DC Food Safety Handler certificate is a plus.
Compensation
  • Part-Time: $17.50 per hour.
  • Full-Time: $3000-$3500 per month.
Working Hours

Store hours are 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Part-Time: Scheduled based on availability, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours.
