Position Title: Sales Coordinator

Role Overview

The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the administrative functions of the sales department, ensuring seamless communication across all teams regarding group requirements from the initial booking until the final check-out. This position is essential for maximizing the sales team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the sales team with all aspects of group, corporate, and catering sales.
  2. Handle incoming business inquiries as directed by the Director of Sales or General Manager.
  3. Assist in the management of in-house groups, ensuring their needs are met.
  4. Act as a communication bridge between the hotel sales office and clients.
  5. Maintain organized files and sales databases in accordance with company protocols.
  6. Facilitate effective communication of group requirements to hotel operations staff.
  7. Complete assigned sales reports and ensure timely submission.
  8. Follow up on special projects and tasks assigned by the Director of Sales.
  9. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is highly desirable.
