Position: Inside Sales Representative

Reporting To: Area Sales Manager

The Inside Sales Representative acts as the primary liaison for clients regarding their orders, delivery confirmations, and estimated arrival times for our offerings. This role emphasizes outstanding customer support, lead generation through diverse channels, management of specialized programs, and assistance to the sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Support:

  • Serve as the main contact for order inquiries, delivery confirmations, and estimated arrival times for Elementia products.
  • Address customer questions and requests swiftly, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to foster relationships and resolve any issues.
  • Aim to deliver exceptional service during all customer interactions.

Lead Development:

  • Leverage both inbound and outbound strategies, including CRM tools and the company website, to cultivate potential leads.
  • Identify and assess prospective clients who show interest in our products, understanding their unique needs.
  • Evaluate the viability of leads based on criteria such as geographical location and budget.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to arrange meetings with potential clients.

Rebate Program Management:

  • Oversee pricing documents and sales materials, ensuring they are accurate and align with company standards.
  • Create reports and facilitate rebate requests for qualifying clients.
  • Implement sales strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the rebate initiatives.

Marketing and Product Knowledge:

  • Provide clients with product literature and detailed information about Elementia's offerings.
  • Effectively present our products, emphasizing their features and advantages.
  • Manage marketing resources and samples, ensuring they are current and available for distribution.
  • Communicate updates on promotions and pricing changes to clients as necessary.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Create monthly performance metrics for Territory Sales Managers.
  • Analyze sales volumes from distributors and dealers to assess their effectiveness.
  • Utilize performance metrics to identify improvement areas and support the development of Territory Sales Managers.

Quote Management:

  • Track expiration dates of all multifamily quotes.
  • Proactively reach out to clients regarding expiring quotes and explore project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Regional and Area Sales Managers to provide additional insights for decision-making.
  • Collect feedback on lost projects to understand reasons and inform stakeholders for future enhancements.

TIME ALLOCATION:

25% - Data Entry and Maintenance

10% - Problem Solving and Customer Service

50% - Customer Communication via Phone/Email

15% - Miscellaneous Tasks and Administrative Support

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong phone communication skills with the ability to actively listen and comprehend customer needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience in a sales or marketing capacity.
