Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming customer service inquiries via calls and emails, and evaluate incoming requests for quotes (RFQs).
- Assess customer specifications and requirements to ensure compatibility with our product offerings through thorough analysis of provided technical data.
- Facilitate efficient processing of quotes and orders.
- Deliver product technical assistance and prepare quotations along with product datasheets.
- Address commercial and technical challenges effectively.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to meet customer needs.
- Support sales teams, distributors, and end-users by ensuring order accuracy and maintaining proper order flow to fulfill delivery commitments.
- Manage and update the CRM database with customer information; ensure records are accurate and well-organized.
- Stay informed about products, market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Uphold a strong customer service reputation among clients.
- Acquire and retain extensive knowledge of product applications and customer requirements.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial sales or support, particularly with safety relief valves, control valves, steam traps, or triple offset butterfly valves.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
- Familiarity with control valves, steam equipment, safety relief valves, ASME code, API, and valve sizing software is advantageous.
- A positive, confident demeanor complemented by excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Ability to handle a high volume of tasks and competing priorities while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in an inside sales or customer service role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Spanish or German is an added advantage.
