Customer Service Insurance Advocate

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ancora Risk. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to clients, answering their questions about insurance policies and coverage issues, and ensuring that all inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Support: Answer incoming calls from clients regarding their insurance policies and coverage issues.
- Policy Modifications: Process client policy modifications accurately and efficiently.
- Verification and Proof of Coverage: Verify customers' coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork.
- Follow-up and Communication: Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies.
- Marketing Efforts: Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available.
- Issue Resolution: Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved.
- Degree and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and previous customer service experience required.
- Insurance Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Licensure: Active NY insurance license.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Ancora Risk offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
