Parish Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Diocese of Venice. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the parish office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial and administrative professional support to the parish office
- Assist in carrying out administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems
- Compose, proofread, and distribute letters, memos, forms, documents, and emails
- Coordinate funerals and other events
- Schedule volunteers for offices and various ministries
- Work with the pastor and business manager on projects and communications
Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous church employment/experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to multitask in a busy office environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Confidentiality is a must
- Must pass DOV assigned level II FDLE background check
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
