Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to positively impact the lives of those we serve. In this role, you will provide various services that empower participants to lead fulfilling lives. We recognize the importance of individual growth and are committed to supporting our participants and their families throughout their journey. Our services are designed to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each participant, helping them achieve their fullest potential.


Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who possess the skills necessary to provide support and care to individuals with disabilities. Passion and commitment to delivering exceptional assistance are essential. While prior experience in the field is beneficial, it is not a requirement.

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED. If these qualifications are not met, our supervisors can assess your skills to ensure you can perform essential job functions.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Proof of tuberculosis clearance within the past year (or clearance prior to starting). Full Life will assist in obtaining this clearance.
  • No prior work experience is necessary; we will provide training to develop the right candidate.
  • The role involves working in participants' homes and within the community, requiring physical activities such as sitting, using hands, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. or more may be required, along with bending, twisting, standing, and driving, depending on the participant's needs.

Benefits:

At Full Life Hawaii, we offer a comprehensive range of benefits to support our employees' well-being and professional growth. Compensation for full-time positions starts at $18.50 per hour, with part-time roles beginning at $16.00 per hour. Certain positions may offer higher starting rates based on the level of support required. All training is compensated at $15.00 per hour, with additional incentives for completing annual training requirements.
