Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to positively impact the lives of our participants. In this role, you will provide various services that empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives. We recognize the significance of promoting personal growth and are devoted to supporting our participants and their families throughout their journey. Our services are designed to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each participant, helping them achieve their full potential through assistance with independence, inclusion, vocational support, and personal development.


Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who possess the skills necessary to offer support and care to individuals with disabilities. Ideal candidates should be driven by passion and a commitment to providing exceptional assistance. While prior experience in a relevant field is advantageous, it is not a requirement.

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED. If these qualifications are not met, skills can be evaluated for certification in key job functions such as documentation and reading comprehension.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Proof of tuberculosis clearance within the past year (or clearance prior to starting). Assistance with obtaining clearance will be provided.
  • No prior work experience is necessary; training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Work will typically take place in participants' homes and the community, requiring physical activities such as sitting, talking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
