As a Lead Project Engineering Specialist at CV Library, you will be instrumental in supervising and directing a team of engineers to guarantee the effective delivery of our projects.

Reporting directly to the Project Engineering Manager, you will guide a vibrant team dedicated to supporting construction and project management teams, ensuring effective field operations and risk mitigation.


Team Leadership:
Oversee, mentor, and lead a team of field engineers, offering direction, training, and performance assessments.
Foster and develop talent within the team, creating a robust pipeline for future project management roles.
Assign tasks efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources and expertise.
Encourage a collaborative work atmosphere, enhancing teamwork and professional growth.

Project Strategy and Coordination:
Partner with project managers and stakeholders to formulate detailed project strategies, encompassing engineering plans and timelines.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth project execution.
Analyze and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Technical Proficiency:
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of industrial construction methodologies, techniques, and equipment.
Supervise the creation of engineering designs, calculations, and construction documentation.
Tackle intricate technical challenges, providing innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and project specifications.
Establish and implement quality assurance protocols to oversee engineering activities.
Conduct routine site assessments and inspections to evaluate project advancement and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, delivering updates and managing expectations.
Collaborate with clients to ascertain project needs and resolve any conflicts.

Requirements Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven leadership skills with prior experience in team management.
Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, codes, regulations, and standards.
Proficiency in construction software, project management applications, and design tools.
Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience in field engineering or project engineering, demonstrating a commitment to personal development and ongoing education.

Compensation The base pay range for this role is $115,000-$142,000 annually.
